The 2-7-30 trick for remembering
The 2 7 30 method is a simple memory technique based on spaced repetition. Review new information twice on day one, again on day seven, and once more on day thirty.
This schedule helps fight the forgetting curve described by Hermann Ebbinghaus. Day one builds a strong initial trace. Day seven reinforces the transition from short term to long term memory. Day thirty helps make the memory more permanent.
You can apply this method using flashcards or apps like Anki with active recall. It can increase retention up to 90 percent compared to about 10 percent without review.
Test yourself and use visualization. Within a month, this method can significantly improve memory performance.
